▶ Connecting to SMT & Creating Your Profile

Establishing handshake with SMT Mainframe... Awaiting user signature... █

> Wallet: [DETECTED]
> Fuel: [SOL > 0]
> Access Pass: [$SMT]

> You have the key, the fuel, and the clearance.
> It's time to plug in.

> step_1: initiate_connection

Locate the [ Connect Wallet 👻 ] button on the SMT platform. This is typically located in the top-right corner of the header. Click it to begin the login sequence.

> step_2: approve_connection

A connection modal will appear.

  1. Select Wallet & Approve: Your Phantom wallet will pop up. If you have multiple accounts inside Phantom, ensure the correct one is selected at the top of the pop-up window. Click Connect.

  1. Sign the Message: After connecting, SMT will request a "signature" to verify you are the true owner of the wallet.

INFO: A signature request is **NOT a transaction**. It does not cost any SOL and it does not grant us permission to move your funds. It is a secure, standard way to prove ownership for login purposes.

Click Sign in the Phantom pop-up to confirm your identity.

> step_3: create_operator_profile

If this is your first time connecting this wallet, the system will prompt you to create your SMT profile. This is your public identity on the terminal.

You will be asked to provide:

  • Username: Your unique handle on SMT. Choose wisely, as this may be permanent.
  • Bio: A short description of who you are or what you do.
  • Avatar: Select an avatar to represent you.

NOTE: In the spirit of Web3, this information is stored decentrally. It is not held on a private company server. Your profile is as censorship-resistant as your assets.

Once you're done, click Create Profile or Continue to finalize the setup.

> query: connection_status

Success. You are now logged into the Solana Market Terminal. Your username and balance should be visible, and you have full access to the marketplace and service hub.

Your terminal is now live.

> User Authenticated. Profile Loaded.
